We got together with Glen's family to go blackberry pickin' for FHE again. Glen was all excited to go. This time he was going to go better prepared. He took his belt and taped it to our kitchen bowl and hung it around his neck so he could use both hands to pick berries.
Glen wanted to pick berries and pick them fast because he knew that the more he got, the more pie I could make. It's so funny to me how we are willing to pack everyone up and drive a half hour just to go pick berries. In Bremerton we could just walk outside and there they were.

WOW! Look at all those berries! We didn't get to pick anything this year. We really wanted Huckleberrys..... There is always next year.
Glen's smart- there's nothing like blackberry pie made with freshly picked blackberries. Mmm mmm mmm. Lucky!
