J.E. Turner Elementary
Jack and Gingers first day of school! August 7th.
They have uniforms here. I was surprised the kids were very excited to wear the plain green white and blue pollos and kakhi bottoms.
Jack is loving kindergarten. Except for when he was sent to time out for not listening on the very first day. hahahahahah He loves his teacher and helps clean up the class room before school starts.
Ginger's little neighbor friend said Ginger was lucky to have Mrs. Sewell.
It's a nice break to not feel soley responsible for their education. Im sure we'll be in and out of public school through the years. I enjoy homeschool but felt like it would be good for everyone to do public for now.
I love the artwork on the school walls. A teachers spouse painted these cute animals all over. Kangaroos, Giraffes etc.

The Blue Angels-Florida
I took the kids to the Blue Angels Practice day (it's free on those days) the day before they started school.
I was shocked at the crowds that turned up! I was expecting an empty lot but nope! We had to park way out and walk forever to get to the spot they take off. It was so crowded we couldnt get up to the bleachers at all! Now I want to go back and see the "real" show they put on.
It was so impressive!! I can't believe the precision! It looked like the jets were touching!
I have developed a greater appreciation for the men who fight to keep us a free nation. They and their families sacrafice so much for the rest of us. Brings me to tears.
The museum was so NEAT! its free too! the kids loved it!
there's my goofball girl again. hahahha
We went to an IMAX showing. It was fun to watch the kids expressions as they watched the HUGE screen.
