I took the kids to fabric store and let them pick our fabric and patch for their capes. Since I left my sewing maching in Oregon, I asked gramma faye if she would sew the capes. Im so glad I did. She came up with such a clever design! To avoid choking with ties, she sewed snaps and snapped the capes to shirts she found that go with the theme each kid wanted. The kids love their capes! They wear them every day! We've received lots of attention for them too. Other moms have asked were I got their capes. They love that they don't have strings.
Jack was so cute! He put his cape on and then said, hey, "I don't think it's working". He was trying to run super fast and jump extra high. It was making me nervous. He really thought the cape would give him power to fly.. lol...so cute!
