Jack Needs a brother . . .

When JAck isn't playing in mud puddles or carrying those three balls around, I often find him like this. .. wearing wings or walking around in Ginger's princess shoes. If I'm painting Ginger's nails, he wants his nails painted. I don't want to make him feel left out so I either paint them too or try to paint Ginger's when Jack isn't paying attention.

Any idea why the kids are sticking balls in their shirt?

Silly kids!

Glen took off around the block as soon as I gave him this Father's Day gift- a scooter. It was practically brand new and I only paid 2 bucks. woo hoo. I love garage sales!

Jack put on the hat and shoes and said, "I'm daddy!"

Glen took just Jack to the store just to buy him this cute hat that says, "Daddy's fishin' buddy" . The first day Jack kept reminding me that he loved his hat and was wearing his hat. He hangs it up on a chair right besides his bed.

Enjoying the warm weather and green grass and "magic drinks" (which is really just crystal light)

Gretchen is one of the kids now..not such a baby. Glen loves to do this popcorn/rootbear activity while I'm away teaching spin on Wed. He makes them ask for "another round" if they want more soda pop. hahahah They love it.

Ginger still is loving that foo foo skirt Aunt Wendy made for her. Here she is pushing Gretchen around on the airplane.

Korker bows

I love the koker bows my mom has been sending and then I decided to try and make my own. They are pretty simple and I really enjoy making them to coordinate with Ginger's outfits. These are what I have done so far. The first two pair are scrawny. I learned that the more ribbon used the better they turn out.

I thought this was just adorable. Ginger put her horse to bed.

Glen has been introducing the cowboy theme to the kids. After talking about it then they wanted to see some "real" cowboys so he put on a John Wayne movie. They were very interested in finding out who the "bad guys" were.

The circus came to town

The weather was great for this. We've made it a tradition to take the kids each year to the circus. We've enjoyed it each time. It's the bigges thing that happens in Lagrande. :)

Glen is turning to his crafty side. Check out these adorable horses he made for the kids. He got the idea from the scout activity they did.

Ginger got the hang of it right away. Jack is still learning. He hops like a rabbit and says, "rump-a-dump rump-a-dump" each time he hops. Don't know where he got that from but it's cute.

Glen really surprised me this mother's day. He woke up early to make such a nice breakfast for me and brought it to me on a tray he made at the shop. So thoughtful! How did I get so lucky to have someone so sweet want to marry ME?

The river again. We spend alot of time here. There has been flooding. I couldn't believe how high it got. up into the parking lot area!

Homemade Clocks with Crackle method

Glen cut out the wood for me and I painted using the crackle method with the cheap All purpose Elmers glue. It worked great. My friend cut out the wording for me with her Cricket. I saw this clock a year ago on the church website and really wanted it. Then I wondered if I could just make it.
(I hope you guys are happy with the ones I sent to you. I guess you could always trade through the mail. :) )

Gretchen is walking all over the place with her little walker. So cute! She is just now starting to stand by herself.

This is what I have to look forward to each weekend. This is where we raft. Isn't it just beautiful! The water was really high in the above photo. This wave is a bit daunting. :)
