It's done and final!! This has been what has been taking all my time. Drawing up house plans.

We changed the plans so many time and even considered doing a loft. But here it is. All Done!

Thanks to everyone's comments about how to improve the plans I first posted.

This first picture is a birds eye view or Site Plot View of our property and house on it.

And here is the floor plan view. We are so excited to get it started and be in our own home.

A new Tradition

Every Sunday has just kind of dragged on and Glen has complained that he felt like he was just waiting for church to start (we have afternoon session). So, because of that we started a new tradition to making sundays something for all of us to look forward to.

We start with a big breakfast. Waffles, huckleberry pancakes or french toast etc. Then we have some kind of activity or craft that we do as a family. Some times we go on drives if it's nice out.

One Sunday we made puppets. A lion puppet and a snake puppet (out of an old sock). Ginger loved it and we had lots of fun "feeding" the puppets choc. chips.

Another Sunday, Glen made a styrofoam airplane and that kept us all occupied till it was time to go to church.

We had lots of fun flying it in the house too and laughed hysterically as it would almost crash into Scot's new Flat Screen TV. But here is where it ended up...caught in the ceiling fan and it is still there to this day. hahahahahh

3 Months old

My little Jack is 3 months old! He is 13.2 pounds now. Two days after he turned 3 months old, he started rolling over from his tummy to back and back to tummy. Now he is doing it all the time! I can't remember when Ginger started rolling over, but I know it wasn't at 3 months.

Jack is half Ginger's size. (Ginger is 25 pounds). I just started having Jack sleep in the bathroom. The doctor told me that it's important to have him sleep in his own space away from me to help him sleep through the night. Since moving him in the bathroom and giving him formula just before bed, he has been alot better at night. he still wakes up once or twice, but goes right back to sleep when I give him a binkey.

Ginger is so good with Jack. She makes him smile and helps out alot. I don't have to worry about her jammin the binky in his mouth or walking on him. She's a good sister and loves to make him smile.

Gingi's bed

A few weeks ago I decided that it was time to have Ginger graduate from a crib to a bed.

I saw this really cute Tinkerbell bed set and got it for her to get her excited about her new bed. I also didn't want her to feel like Jack was taking over the carebears from the crib. I also got her tinkerbell pajamas to match.

She loves her bed and she loves Tinkerbell. It all started when my parents gave her the Tinkerbell movie for Christmas.

The first time I had her sleep in the bed at nap time, she cried for 20 minutes and wanted to come out. so I propped this infront of the door. Then, that night when I went to Walfart, I got the Tinkerbell set and that made such a huge difference! We celebrated her moving from a crib to bed. We haven't had to block the door since then and Ginger wants to go to bed and she stays there! She has been so obediant about that.

Jack at 2 1/2 months old

Jack is now waking up just once a night! hurray!

He was smiling so easily and being so cute. I took a bunch of pictures and posted a few of my favorites.

Wolf Creek Reservoir

This weekend Glen went camping with some of his buddies and then went ice fishing here at Wolf Creek Reservoir. He came home Saturday and told me all the fun he had and how pretty it was to be out at Wolf Creek. I had never seen ice fishing before (except on Bones) and had never been to Wolf Creek. So, we decided to pack up some goodies and hot chocolate and go for a Sunday drive before church since it was so pretty outside.

It was only about a thirty minute drive. We got there, unloaded and went down on the ice.

It was about two feet thick! We met some really nice ice fishers that let us watch them catch fish.

This is how they drill the hole in the ice. They use what is called an Ice Ogger (not sure if I spelled that right)

He caught a fish!

The people were fun to visit with and were so friendly. They even sent us home with three fish! We ate the fish for dinner tonight and it was so good!

I told them I would post their pictures and videos so they could seem them. :)

We got more out of our sunday drive than we expected. :)
