Jacks birthday part 1
Jack's birthday
It was Jack's birthday today. We had Gamma Shari and Gampa Dale come over for pizza and a little party for Jack. It turned out really nice thanks to both our parents and the nice gifts they got for Jack. I made a thomas train cake. I made the train out of sprinkles. I wanted to make a toy story cake, cause that was the theme of the decorations, but I thought the cake would have a better chance at turning out nice if I just had to draw some circle and squares to the train versus the whole Woody or Buzz light year character.
The tool set and the train set was a hit! He (we all) played with those the rest of the night.
(Check out Ginger's short hair) Yikes huh? It's cute but we both agree we like it better longer. (I was having a little too much fun the other day playing 'hair styliest' when giving the kids haircuts. I ended up taking Ginger to a REAL stylist to fix the job I started on her hair.)

this showes it better
2010 family pic
got pictures
jacks 2 yr. pics. Jack is proving to be an obediant little guy who gives in to all of Ginger's silly games.
He has a fascination with round objects, things that go round and roll and things that fly in the air. He loves to tip his airplane or truck upside down so he can spin the wheels. He also loves the outdoors. When I ask him what he wants to do, he says, "go to the mountains" or "go to the river".
Gretchens 8 month
Gretchen is growing fast. With 2 teeth and two more poking through, this little cupcake eats solids really well and is still as sweet as can be. I love this stage. no whining or complaining. Gretchen seems to be happy with whatever unless of course it's 7pm. If it's 7 or later and Gretchen isn't in her pajamas rock a bying in a calm environment, she gets cranky and wants to be put to bed. (she needs her 'alone quiet time' like I do!)
Gingers 4 yr. pic- Ginger is proving to be quite the jokester and family clown. She loves to laugh and tease. She loves things all pretty and pink and princess (of course) (despite my attempts to deter the whole "princess theme" for fear of it going to her head, which some days it does).
Something I made of Gretchen 6 months pics. This is very similar to what I have framed of Ginger at this age.
