" Give me a break!"

Ever watch John Walsh do the "Give me a break" story on 20/20?

Okay, so I would love to get this sign and post it on our house!
so here is the story!

We have had four neighbors on different occasions tell us that they've seen this black guy on a bike park his bike in our garage and snoop around in the dark, scoping the place out and take off with some pop cans. We have actually met this black guy and have all seen him circling our neighborhood in the late evening. Glen and Scot met him a couple months ago and figured he was harmless, but now that he keeps coming back to our house and going in it and being all snoopy and suspicious acting in the late late evenings, we are getting pretty annoyed and wondering what he's really up to. soooooooo

Glen called the "non-emergency"cops to report suspicious behavior and told the cop he can supple four witnesses to this behavior so the cop came by and took his report and then refused to go to where the guy lives and talk to him and of course wasn't interested in meeting any of these witnesses. The guy lives just down the road in the trailer park! NEWS TO ME ! I guess it is not against the law for someone to come onto your property, enter a part of your house and then remove items from your property in the middle of the night and do it repeatedly! grrr!! The stupid cop told Glen to call them when the guy is in action and actually causing harm. What a load of crap! It takes 2 hours for the retareded cop to get here! doesn't the cop realize that since this creep is doing all this late at night, that he is obviously up to no good! So, I guess if he breaks through the locks, then it's our fault for not putting a stronger lock system in.

The cop told Glen he needs to confront the guy himself. What good is that going to do if the cops aren't willing to back us up on this?

Please, tell me what you would do in this situation. oh, and after the kids wake up from naps, I will be going to walfart to look for some intimidating "No Trespassing" signs to post up on our house for the idiots that think they can enter in and scout out the place.

Our Craigslist table

Glen and I have really taken a liking to cherry wood. A couple months ago, Glen found this Pub Style Table and Chairs on ..you guessed it, Craigs list once again. What was even better was that it was only ten minutes away instead of 3 hours!
I love this higher up table and the color. I also love how the leaf is stored in the table so you don't have to store the leaf elsewhere. It does have some nicks, dings and scratches, but I guess that's why we got a good price on it. :) Old English has become my newest friend. :)

The sad thing about this table is that just yesturday, Ginger took good fall from the chair which resulted in an emergency room visit! :(
I'll post more about that later. anyway, I now have a booster seat strapped to the chair and I strap Ginger to the booster seat when she sits at the table.

Our 8 month old

Jack is 8 months old already! And as you can see, he loves teething biscuits!

Jack and Ginger play so well together. I love hearing her make him laugh.

Jack takes two naps a day. I just want to pick him up. It's so cute when he sleeps with his leggies tucked under him.

Quick facts about Jack:

-His two bottom teeth are popping through!
- He just started crawling and now I never see him do the army crawl anymore.
- He easily goes from crawling to seated and vise versa
- He eats alot and is NOT a picky eater! hurray!
- He goes to bed at 8 after drinking 8 oz and then wakes up around 6 for a bottle and sleeps for another hour or so.
- He's stays happy sitting and playing with toys for long periods of time.
- He often sounds like a little gremlin when experimenting with his voice.
-He does great in the car, especially long road trips! (not sure how long that will last!)
-He says ma ma ma and dad da da
We just love having Jack in our family. He makes for a good play mate for Ginger. We are so glad that he has been an easy going happy baby like Ginger was. (hopefully the next one will be this easy-going).

Da da da Da!

Baby number 3 is on his/her way!
(so Ginger came from Idaho, Jack is from LaGrande and this one came from Oklahoma! hahahhh)

I told Ginger today that I had a baby in my tummy and she tried to lift my shirt and said, "I wanna see it!". Then I asked her if she wanted another baby brother or a sister and she said "I wann anodder baby brodder". cute!

Consider yourself a goddess!? hahhah

Here is another new product that I am really enjoying! It is the new Venus Razor with Gel strips so you don't need to mess with shaving gel. THis is great for traveling or if you shower at the gym like I do, those shower stalls are small and it would be hard to use gel and keep it from rinsing off before you got to shave. All you do is get your leg wet and the razor wet and there you go! I keep this one at the gym locker and my regular one at home.

My favorite Ensign article

I've been wanting to share this for a while but just haven't gotten around to it till now.
If you haven't read the June 2009 Ensign, you should look through it. My favorite article in this one and I think of all Ensigns is the one titled "Our Refined Heavenly Home" by Elder Douglas L. Callister. This was such a good article that Glen suggested I cut it out and make a folder of my favorite articles. Reading this really helped put things into perspective for me and I know I will need to go back and read it from time to time. After reading this it just made me want to be better and make even small changes that I might think wouldn't normally matter much.


Every night I put the kids to bed at 8pm sharp because for one, keeping them on a schedule keeps them happy kids which keeps me happy too and I really depend on having some quiet time in the evenings to read.
I look forward to hopping in bed and reading the Ensign. I just love the magazine and all it has to offer.

The other day they had a great article in August Ensign. It was tited "Managing Postpartum Depression-a gospel perspective"
I really appreciated this article and am so grateful to the church leaders and members that contribute to the Ensign. I know the baby blues and P.D affect alot of us so I had to share with you that they have an article in the ensign just for us, for those who struggle with these issues or know people that do. I read this article and then Glen and I read it together and it really helped him understand what a woman (me) goes through at times.
I don't think I've ever bore my testimony on my blog before but I feel like I want to now.
I know church leaders are inspired to know what subjects are needed to be addressed for the Ensign and I know that just reading it really helps lift me and makes me want to be better. I'm so grateful to be a member of the church and am grateful for the testimony I have.

The best floss!

My mom gave me a sample of this floss and I loved it! It stretches so it doesn't feel like it gets snagged on any teeth or caught between teeth that barely have a space inbetween. I hated to floss till now. I won't use any other floss but the stretchy kind. You should try it out!

Do you know what this is?

When I was helping my dad unload wood, we found this weird bug. It is a light baby blue and black striped thing. Has anyone ever seen this or know the name?
