I finally caught it and then pursued going through everything in the kitchen making sure any open boxes or packages were in a sealed ziplock. bla! I haven't seen any since then. fewf!

Euuuwww...reminds me of a silver fish but it looks bigger and creepier with those long legs. I wonder what it is. Yuck. I hate to say it but where there's one you can bet there's more! Good idea to keep everything in ziplocks.

what a cool looking bug! I would have been creeped-out too seeing it slither across my pantry. I just looked it up and found that your bug is called a House Centipede. Very common and "super-beneficial" in keeping other bigger pests at bay.
