Ginger's birthday was friday the 12th. I made her a cake (above) and we had a little party for her. We had pizza cake and presents. Then, despite it snowing, we went to the pool and took her swimming. she loves the water. I sat on the benches with jack. There was no way I was getting in a swimsuit or taking Jack in the water.

THAT cake is just adorable, Summer! I can't believe all the work you put into it. It's so cute. Looks like a pretty fun party. Those swim goggles crack me up. Gotta save those pictures to show at her wedding! hahaha ♥
Great job on the cake!! :) Can't believe she's 2, and love that little book!!

That's fun. She's old enough that she knows it's a special day and can enjoy the cake presents and stuff. What a cute smile in that picture with the balloons on your heads!
What a party! Your cake is AMAZING!! I hadn't seen that updated hungry caterpillar book before- really cute! I love Eric Carle:) {Who knows how to make balloon hats? Awesome!}
♥ Great pictures! Love the cake! You did great! :)
The Hungry Caterpillar shown here is a Christmas ornament Hallmark has out this year. Cute, huh? I couldn't resist getting it for "our little bookworm." And with it I sent the real book. ♥
Aw, I love that cake! It looks amazing! I'm glad you can still find time to party and do these fun little celebrations with new little Jack there. How lucky Ginger is!!
I love these photos! The hats are a great idea, too. Ginger looks so cute in the 3rd photo. Big grin. And so serious in the 6th photo.
...um, I'm sorry I didn't send her present. I'm still working on that blanket...
