To my pleasant surprise, two weeks ago, (right during the process of packing up and moving our stuff over here) Ginger out of the blue says, "Oh, I have to go potty!". At the time, I didn't get my hopes up because she's had days here and there where she wants to use the toilet and then the next day she's too lazy to stop playing and do it.
Well, it's been two weeks now and I'm happy to say she is wearing her little tinkerbell undies during the day and now out when we run errands too! She still wears pull-ups at night and she isn't completely comfortable going #2 on the potty, so I keep a close eye on her. I really don't want to have her go poo in her undies.
The funny thing is, her little friend Christian is potty training now too. She started a few weeks earlier than Ginger. The first time Christian came over since we moved here, Ginger was all excited and wanting to show off her new toilet training skills. It was so funny.
I'm just really glad that this day has finally come and that I could put the training toilet away and just have her use the normal one. Washing that thing out was getting old!

Two cute little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls sharing cheese and crackers. So cute. Maybe they'll help each other be big girls as they show off their new "skills." : ) Peer pressure goes a long way!
I'm imagining the day when Jack has a friend over and he points to the toilet and says, "Hey, check this out, dude. I know how to use that thing!"
All done, Mama!
Hahahahahah! Isn't it funny how you can post on your blog about Ginger going potty and what kind of underwear she wears? Hahahha! Do you think she will be embarrassed if she sees that post when she's 10? hahhahah! I'm glad you don't have to change her diapers anymore. Good to have her move on from that stage so you don't have so much work. Do you think she will want to show Greg and I her new potty skills? Hahahha!
Hey that's so neat!! I think Alana is trying to potty train herself! It's not very consistent though. :)
I love it when they get it. I swear Isaac was just a stubborn one but it is nice to only have to change one person's diapers now.
♥ That's the easiest way I've found also. Worked so much better than forcing the issue I tried that with Emma it was horrible!
