Gospel Tabernacle Potluck and music

First of all, isn't this the cutest frog! I was so excited when the kids found it. They found more later in the evening and we took them home and kept them for a few days.
Our landlord, Sally and Slim invited us to their church potluck for fun and music and sharing testimonies. Sally and Slim sing southern gospel music.  We all just love it.  They are really good and we got one of their cds. Some other members sing too.  The kids loved running and dancing around to the music and making new friends.

Gretchen just invites herself on everyone's lap and charms them all.

I asked Sally and Slim if they knew "In the Garden".  So they worked on it and learned it for me so they could play it that evening. I thought that was so sweet.

That frog is SO tiny! Cute! Looks like such a nice time with your friends. Yummy potluck and good music. Is that a bit of a beard I see on Glen's chin? : )

Oh, and that little tidbit of video sounds really good. Pretty harmony, huh? Love that song. I'd love to hear them sing Whispering Hope.
