The brand of my baby thermometer is EXERGEN comfort scanner. It's very accurate! I think they run for around $35. Forehead scanners are better than the ear thermometer because when using an ear one for small babies, the tip deosn't fit good in their little ears and you can't get an accurate reading. The forehead one is nice..because you don't have to buy platic disposable covers like you do for the ear one and the forehead one fits any size forehead. :) Glen and I use it for ourselves too. I heard that the Braun brand is good too.
