For Mothers day, we went to see my grandma and have a nice turkey lunch with her at her nursing home. Ginger loved to say hi and charm all the residents. Seeing how they just light up to Ginger makes me want to take her to the nursing homes back at home.
My mom and I went to the Victoriam Tea Room while Glen took Ginger with him to visit his friend, Grant. We love this place and come here almost everytime we get together. It's become a tradition for my sisters and mom to come here together. They have the best sandwhiches and desserts.
THey also have a gift shop that is always fun to look at but too expensive. They have all kinds of trinkets, home decor, cards, etc.

Nice! I'm glad you could be with Mom on Mother's Day. I feel bad when it's Mother's Day and none of us are there.
Jack looks so cute in that shirt. It makes me think of a lumber jack. I love his bright blue eyes. And Ginger looks pretty by the flowers. I could hear mom saying, "Go stand by the flowers for the picture!" I thought it was funny that you (or mom) talked about getting the chocolate cake but then you both got something else! Haha! I like the bread pudding--it looks like that's what you got. Yum!

What an adorable place and what a great tradition!! Good food and great atmosphere can be hard to find!!! I think I could spend the rest of my life eating nothing but good sandwiches and desserts:) I might miss a good steak occasionally, but yummy sandwhiches, salads, soups, and desserts are my fave! You guys look so cute there together!!
I'm glad we could spend some pleasant time with Grandma this Mother's Day. And, it was really nice to go to the tea room again. I think it will always be a place we'll remember. It's extra special...and the good food helps keep it a favorite spot of ours. Thanks, Glen, for giving us that time together for Mother's Day.
That place is REALLY YUMMY. I remember that one time that we went with you guys there.
