This is a blue flame propane heater. We got this in case the power went out. This puts out a lot of heat and the propane burns clean. It's by Mr. Heater off of Amazon. Gives us piece of mind to know we are prepared. We are really happy with this and would recomend it. This should be able to keep our entire house warm instead of just one room. It has good safety features on it and is easy to operate.

Oh, that looks nice. Yes, it is a good idea to have that back-up heat source. Dad lent us a karosene heater and we also have a smaller heater that uses butane. Two years ago the power went out for about 8 hours in the middle of a snow storm and it was SO COLD in our apartment. It kind of scared me to think that we had no way of getting warm. I had never thought of it before. I suppose we could make a fire in the bathtub if we're desperate. Hahaha! It's good to be prepared so you don't have to. =)
Our friends have one of those in their mudroom and it really does work SO well- gives off such nice heat and so much of it:)
